I draw pictures by hand. No matter how useful the tool is, the original nature cannot be changed. I value the fact that there are no fences in the painting, and I look forward to thinking deeply. I have a little presbyopia, but I think it's more and more important to feel the hands. |
I have always felt freedom and familiarity with powder painting materials. I tend to prefer blurry colors and lighter finishes, so I use masking tape to sharpen soft pastel paintings. In order to get the best finish, I use a method of shaving and recoating and confining with varnish. |
I use several pastel makers. Schminke and Sennelier with beautiful and strong colors. Rembrandt is light but has a beautiful and delicate color range. Gondola with many Japanese colors. I sometimes use fluorescent colors only for my personal work. |
Gesso is indispensable for creating texture other than the base. Image painting has a high degree of freedom, and it is worth improving the technique. I also have a style that mixes oil pastel and crayons. The work of painting is very fun. |
